Here are a few of the main highlights…

Mountain Biking: Durango

Day one kicks off with an epic E-mountain biking adventure.  Yes you read that right…we will be renting electric mountain bikes that make the experience going up hills just as fun as the downhills!   You’ll tear through rugged trails, navigate thrilling descents, and conquer challenging terrain. Feel the rush as you carve your way through the stunning Colorado landscape.

Bike rental, transportation and helmet/safety gear are all included.

Train Ride & Backpacking: Chicago Basin

You will ride the historic Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, winding through towering peaks and rugged canyons as the river guides you into Colorado’s wild heart. Step off at Needleton, shoulder your pack, and head toward the awe-inspiring Chicago Basin. It’s more than a hike. It’s an invitation to discover creation’s grandeur, test your endurance, and strengthen your bonds.

14’er “Peak Bagging” Attempt

With weather permitting, you’ll have the chance to climb one of the 14,000-foot peaks near Chicago Basin. A demanding ascent, breathtaking views, and an unforgettable way to test your grit and grow in confidence.

FAQ’s & Details:

  • What does the trip fee cover?  The trip fee takes care of transportation, equipment, camping/backcountry fees, guide services/shuttles, and special dinners. Most food is taken care of EXCEPT on the first and last day of travel.  It is recommend that each person brings an extra $50 for food plus any extra spending money they may want.
  • What equipment will I need? We will provide all the camping/backpacking gear you will need if you don’t have your own. When you register, you can indicate your need/preference.  You will need some general specific items for our backpacking portions.
  • Will I need to bring food?  Nope…because here is the deal…we love food!  Because of this we believe an awesome trip deserves awesome food.  So we aim to deliver not only in the adventure part but in the party in your stomach part.  However, if you have a favorite snack your just can’t live without, let us know and we will be as accommodating as possible.  We know…we have our favorites too!
  • Do I need to have prior experience on any of these trips? No, not really. We understand many people have not gotten a chance to do these types of trips (that’s one of the reasons we do this!). We want you to feel confident about the aspects of your trip so we will help equip and encourage you in whatever skill level you or your crew possesses.
