Colorado Adventure Trip 2023

Are you ready for some adventure?  Well this week will be packed with it!

Without a doubt you will remember this trip as one of your top experiences at the end of your life!   Why?  Because not only will you experience some incredible rock-climbing and mountain biking, but the backpacking portion will leave you speechless as you enjoy unforgettable panoramic views as we travel over four passes.  Your blood will also pump as you experience the thrill and drama of standing on top of not only one…but TWO fourteen thousand foot peaks!

We will also get a chance to hangout in the mountain town of Aspen where we will relax and celebrate our adventures.

While this trip will be packed with challenge & adventure, most guys appreciate the personal time of reflection as well as group time of swapping stories and encouraging each other.

Here are a few of the main highlights…

Peak Climbing: Mt. Shavano and Tabeguache Mt.

We start our “adventure tour” off with a bang!  Day 2 will begin early with an attempt of 2 peaks (Shavano & Tabeguache) in Colorado. This is a great opportunity because most people just climb one in a day.  If you have never climbed a “fourteener”, be ready for a challenge as well as prepared to take incredible pictures!

Mountain Biking: Smuggler Mountain (Aspen)

On Day 3 we will saddle up on our mountain bikes and ride up and around the Aspen area.

We will climb Smuggler Mountain…a local favorite…and then enjoy a killer ride down through beautiful single track overlooking the town of Aspen

Bike rental and helmet are all included.

Backpacking: Four Pass Loop

On days 4, 5, 6 & 7 we will be in the backcountry. Much adventure awaits us here. We will traverse across four passes on a loop in the Snowmass Wilderness and enjoy a day “sabbatical” at Snowmass Lake.  You will see what most people never get to see.

FAQ’s & Details:

  • What does the trip fee cover?  The trip fee takes care of transportation, equipment, camping/backcountry fees, guide services/shuttles, and special dinners. Most food is taken care of EXCEPT on the first and last day of travel.  It is recommend that each person brings an extra $50 for food plus any extra spending money they may want.
  • What equipment will I need? We will provide all the camping/backpacking gear you will need if you don’t have your own. When you register, you can indicate your need/preference.  You will need some general specific items for our backpacking portions.  Click here to see recommendations and packing guide.
  • Will I need to bring food?  Nope…because here is the deal…we love food!  Because of this we believe an awesome trip deserves awesome food.  So we aim to deliver not only in the adventure part but in the party in your stomach part.  However, if you have a favorite snack your just can’t live without, let us know and we will be as accommodating as possible.  We know…we have our favorites too!
  • Do I need to have prior experience on any of these trips? No, not really. We understand many people have not gotten a chance to do these types of trips (that’s one of the reasons we do this!). We want you to feel confident about the aspects of your trip so we will help equip and encourage you in whatever skill level you or your crew possesses.
