Where will you be going?  Answer: All over Utah and a part of Colorado!

We know you love to experience a variety of adventures and challenges. That is why this trip was designed to be an “epic tour” of adventure for you! Believe us when we say, this is our favorite trip we have ever put together. Each of the places we go, could be a trip all unto themselves!

Just so you know, no prior backpacking/climbing experience is needed, only a sense of adventure!  This trip will have multiple adventures that will challenge you as you try something for the first time or push your existing skills.

Here are a few of the main highlights…

Backpacking & Peak Climbing: Mt. Sneffles

We start our “adventure tour” off with a bang!  The Blue Lake Basin area and Mt. Sneffles are iconic areas with picturesque views and incredible backpacking.  We will hike to Blue Lake on Day 2 and then attempt a summit of Mt. Sneffels the next morning. Be ready for a challenge as well as prepared to take incredible pictures!

Mountain Biking and Exploring: Moab Utah

On Day 3 we leave Colorado and arrive in Moab Utah. The next day we will saddle up on our mountain bikes and ride the famous slick rock trails around Moab.  We will have full suspension bikes (because you will need them!) but the real trick will be keeping your eyes on the trail instead of the eye-catching rock formations that scatter the landscape.

Of course no trip around Moab is complete without a short hike and tour to the famous Arches National Park!

Canyonlands Exploring: Capital Reef & Bryce Canyon

Utah is packed full of amazing rock wonders unlike any other place on the planet.  Day 5 we will enjoy a more relaxing day traveling through the countless canyons and fantastically formed buttes that make up this vast wilderness.

Here are links to find out more about this area:  Capital Reef, Bryce Canyon

Canyoneering: Zion National Park

Days 6-8 will be the ultimate climax of our trip.  You will hike up the knife edge of Angel’s Landing for a bird’s eye view of Zion canyon.

And with an opportunity that few get to experience, we will hike the famous Narrows section down from the top head-waters of the Virgin River and stay overnight in the canyon!

ADVENTURE NOTE: You may have to swim with your pack on!

And to top it all off, we will celebrate a great dinner overlooking the Grand Canyon as we watch the sunset on our way back home.

Special note on transportation:

Due to the great distance we will travel, we are excited to announce that our transportation will consist of a 33ft RV.  This will allow us to stretch out and connect more as we travel.  Yes this is an adventure…but we might as well travel in comfort!

FAQ’s & Details:

  • What does the trip fee cover?  The trip fee takes care of transportation, equipment, camping/backcountry fees, guide services/shuttles, and special dinners. Most food is taken care of EXCEPT on the first and last day of travel.  It is recommend that each person brings an extra $50 for food plus any extra spending money they may want.
  • What equipment will I need? We will provide all the camping/backpacking gear you will need if you don’t have your own. When you register, you can indicate your need/preference.  You will need some general specific items for our backpacking portions.  Click here to see recommendations and packing guide.
  • Will I need to bring food?  Nope…because here is the deal…we love food!  Because of this we believe an awesome trip deserves awesome food.  So we aim to deliver not only in the adventure part but in the party in your stomach part.  However, if you have a favorite snack your just can’t live without, let us know and we will be as accommodating as possible.  We know…we have our favorites too!
  • Do I need to have prior experience on any of these trips? No, not really. We understand many people have not gotten a chance to do these types of trips (that’s one of the reasons we do this!). We want you to feel confident about the aspects of your trip so we will help equip and encourage you in whatever skill level you or your crew possesses.
